CS Major Information
Pass/Not Pass policy for L&S CS majors, Fall 2022
The EECS department has decided to allow Fall 2022 ‘P’ grades to count towards the major requirements for the L&S CS major, except for CS 61A, CS 61B, and CS 70.
This applies only to the L&S CS major, and not the EECS major, CS minor, EECS minor, or EIS minor.

In addition to the implications of electing P/NP grading listed there, please consider that letter grades are used in the hiring process for academic student employees (readers, tutors, uGSIs) and may be used by the admissions process at graduate schools.
