Berkeley ACM A.M. Turing Laureate Colloquium
Awardees of the ACM AM Turing Award—called the Nobel Prize of computer science—reflect on their time in Berkeley between 1970 and 1990, while looking towards the future of research and technological development in their fields.
On February 14, 2019, “The Future of Medicine: An EECS Perspective” focused on how EECS research is changing the future of medicine. It started with six broadly accessible lectures about these recent developments followed by shorter talks by some of our graduate student on a broader range of topics.
