Students are automatically given access to buildings, rooms and labs based on their course enrollment.
If you have problems with your access, email firstname.lastname@example.org or visit 387 Soda Hall M-F 8:00am-11:30am or 1:00pm-3:30pm.
Take found items to 387 Soda Hall or 253 Cory Hall, where they will be kept for 4 weeks. After the fourth week, they will be taken to the campus lost and found office, if appropriate. You can see what type of items are accepted by the campus lost and found office, and search their database, here. All items not accepted by the campus lost and found office will be donated.
Internal campus mail and outgoing mail using department and research barcode stickers should be taken to 253 Cory Hall or 387 Soda Hall. If you missed the pickup, Campus Mail Services has several late boxes (cleared by 2 pm).
Use US Postal Service mailboxes for personal mail. The closest is at the corner of Hearst and Euclid.
Mail sent to Cory Hall and Soda Hall requires the following mail codes:
- Cory Hall: 1770
- Soda Hall: 1776
Faculty and staff mailboxes are located at the Cory and Soda Hall Front Offices.

All shipping and receiving using department and research funds, including FedEx and UPS, is handled by ERSO Shipping and Receiving in 266 Sutardja Dai Hall, email email@example.com
If you are expecting a package, there will be a 1-day delay from the time your courier says they have delivered your item. Campus services receives the package and delivers it to its final destination by the next business day.
For personal FedEx and UPS shipments:
- The nearest FedEx box is in the lobby of Etcheverry Hall, via the entrance near the Hearst Ave end of the breezeway between Etcheverry and Soda. There is another on the Campanile side of Evans Hall.
- There is a UPS box at the corner of Euclid and Hearst.
Fax machine and thermal laminator available for faculty/staff use at the Cory Hall Front Office.
The following equipment can be borrowed by faculty and staff:
- Hand carts
- Conference calling devices
- Poster boards and easels.
To dispose of large equipment, email shipping and receiving at firstname.lastname@example.org
The Cory Hall and Soda Hall Front Offices have small battery recycling bins available for staff/faculty use.
