Milestone Dedication for IEEE Standard 754

Join us in celebrating the unveiling of a second IEEE Milestone Plaque, commemorating IEEE Standard 754 for binary floating-point arithmetic, 1985. The ceremony begins Wednesday, May 3rd at 4:00 in Soda Hall, outside the HP auditorium on the third floor, followed by refreshments in the Wozniak Lounge on the fourth floor.

Berkeley-Stanford Meetup 2023

The 9th Annual Berkeley-Stanford Women in EECS research meetup took place on Saturday, April 29th in the Wozniak Lounge, Soda Hall. The meetup offers all female-identifying, transgender, non-binary, and gender non-conforming graduate students a chance to learn about each other’s research and to network with alums from industry and academia.

BEARS 2023

The Berkeley EECS Annual Research Symposium is an opportunity for everyone in the wider UC Berkeley Electrical Engineering and Computer Sciences community to come together to hear about some of our latest research and celebrate the year’s Distinguished Alumni. This year’s lectures celebrated the department’s 50th anniversary. The program highlighted the wide-reaching impact of EE+CS at Berkeley in academia and industry over the past five decades.
