Corporate Access Program (CAP)
Our Corporate Access Program (CAP) provides exclusive access to EECS students through on-campus recruiting opportunities, events, and personalized staff support. A partnership with Berkeley EECS through CAP is the most seamless way to recruit on campus.
What is CAP?
The Corporate Access Program was established to aid companies in recruiting and forming connections with students. CAP assists companies in:
- Managing competitive on-campus recruiting of EECS/CS students.
- Securing departmental space and staff time, alongside offering soft funding to student organizations and other departmental priorities.
CAP assists students in fostering on-campus interactions with potential employers, ensuring these interactions are effectively organized, appropriately timed, and aligned with the university’s public mission.
Who is CAP for?
- CAP is most suitable for companies capable of frequent campus visits, adept at forming relationships with students in informal environments, and equipped with a strong system for gathering data and managing applicants.
- Companies that can highlight and leverage Berkeley alumni as recruiting partners are ideal matches.

“We love recruiting at Berkeley because of the awesome students and the partnership with staff. I have received so much positive feedback from the engineers we brought on campus… and that wouldn’t have been possible without CAP.” – Current CAP member
