WiCSE 40th Anniversary
The UC Berkeley Women in Computer Science and Engineering (WiCSE) 40th Anniversary Reunion, which celebrates 40 years of women in technology at Berkeley, will be held on Saturday, March 17, 2018. Join us for a day packed full of reunions, enlightening talks, and networking opportunities!
A note from WiCSE Co-Presidents Alice Ye and Coline Devin
We are proud to add speakers throughout the day including Prof. Tsu-Jae King Liu. Prof. King Liu was the Chair of the Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from July 2014-June 2016, and is the current Vice-Provost for Academic and Space Planning at University of California, Berkeley.
WiCSE is also planning a day of activities including lightning talks on career paths and research by current graduate students and alumni, retrospectives on WiCSE history, as well as panels and discussions on diversity within electrical engineering and computer science. We hope this event will foster mentorship and visibility for alumnae and current students.
