Sky Computing Lab receives NVIDIA DGX B200 for AI research

This week, the Sky Computing Lab at UC Berkeley EECS became the first research institution in the nation to receive NVIDIA’s cutting-edge DGX B200 system.
The DGX B200 is a powerful tool for advancing AI research, designed to handle a wide range of AI workloads, including large language models, recommender systems, and chatbots.
“This generous donation from NVIDIA will be critical for our research on Large Language Models. These are the most advanced GPUs to date and they will enable us to conduct research in a variety of areas such as post-training, reasoning, and agentic systems,” said Ion Stoica, EECS Professor and principal at Sky.
