Sayeef Salahuddin wins the IEEE Andrew S. Grove Award

EECS Professor Sayeef Salahuddin has won the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) Andrew S. Grove Award.

The IEEE Technical Field Awards are among IEEE’s most prestigious. The Andrew S Grove Award recognizes an individual or team for outstanding contributions to solid-state devices and technology. Salahuddin is cited “for pioneering contributions to physics of ferroelectrics and integrated ferroelectric devices.”

Salahuddin is an IEEE Fellow, and an APS Fellow, and was recently elected to the American Association for the Advancement of Science as a lifetime fellow earlier this year. His research explores novel device physics for low-power electronic and spintronic devices.
