Qinghua Ding wins IEEE Jack Keil Wolf ISIT Student Paper Award
EECS Ph.D. student Qinghua Ding has been awarded the 2025 Jack Keil Wolf ISIT Student Paper Award at the IEEE International Symposium on Information Theory (ISIT). This prestigious award recognizes outstanding student-authored papers presented at ISIT, one of the premier conferences in information theory.
Ding was selected for the paper, “On Statistical Estimation of Edge-Reinforced Random Walks,” which he co-authored with EECS Professor Venkat Anantharam.
Named in honor of Jack Keil Wolf, a pioneer in coding and information theory, the award celebrates innovative research contributions with significant potential impact in the field.
