Berkeley EECS tops U.S. News graduate program rankings

U.S. News & World Report has released its 2025 graduate program rankings, which placed Berkeley Engineering in the top 3.

Berkeley EECS continues to lead among the college’s individual programs, whose rankings remained unchanged from previous years. Electrical Engineering is ranked No.3, Computer Science is ranked No. 1, and Computer Engineering is also ranked No.1.

Earlier this year, U.S. News revised its assessment of computer science programs by evaluating them based on “academic quality ratings provided by senior officials.” Additionally, U.S. News continued to rank the graduate program in computer engineering independently from computer science.
