Alexandre Bayen receives honorary doctorate from TU Delft

EECS Professor Alexandre Bayen has been awarded an honorary doctorate by TU Delft.
The honorary doctorate was conferred during the 183rd Dies Natalis celebrations, which this year focused on the theme “Making Sense of Mobility.”
“Alexandre Bayen studies the collaborative autonomy of manually and automatically driven vehicles. His research is well-timed, connects application and theory and it has solid mathematical and empirical, data-driven orientation. He addresses the impact on both traffic and energy efficiency,” said Bart van Arem, Professor of Transport Modelling, nominator, and honorary supervisor.
