Diversity Recruitment Opportunities

CAP Undergraduate Scholars Program

Enhance your company’s efforts to recruit a diverse variety of students through the EECS Undergraduate Scholarships Program, offered by the EECS Department’s External Relations Group (XRG) to CAP members.  This corporate scholarship program, which costs $5,000 - $10,000 per student per year, is designed specifically for EECS undergraduate students.  You can cultivate a closer relationship with selected students through regular interactions including facilitated meetings on campus, and visits to your company to tour the facilities and meet with executives, hiring managers and alumni, etc.

The scholarship will help to fund the scholars’ tuition and fees, and sponsor them to attend conferences such as the Grace Hopper Celebration of Women in Computing, ACM Richard Tapia Celebration of Diversity in Computing, and the annual conferences of the Society for Hispanic Professional Engineers (SHPE), the National Society of Black Engineers (NSBE), and Society of Women Engineers (SWE).
