Housing

Securing housing can take up to a couple of months, so we encourage you to start your search well before you arrive. The campus has expanded its housing options for graduate students, and now is the best time to apply! Berkeley Housing offers four apartment complexes for single graduate students, as well as family student housing at University Village in Albany (UVA). Apply today via the Berkeley Housing portal. If you are interested in living in xučyun ruwway, an apartment community for single graduate students, you may want to sign up for an in-person tour. The Berkeley Graduate Division has also put together a few helpful tips that are worth checking out: Graduate Division’s Housing Tips.

Other housing options and resources include:

Sexual Violence/Sexual Harassment Prevention Training

All graduate students are required to complete both the online and in-person Sexual Violence/Sexual Harassment Prevention Trainings. You must complete the online training prior to the first day of instruction (failure to do so will result in an enrollment block). The in-person training will be held via Zoom through the Graduate Division’s New Graduate Student Orientation (NGSO). Students need to attend only one “in-person” (Zoom) training.
