Enter the BlackBerry’s Spark Hackathon for the chance to win a free trip to New York or London, where they will demo their application at a BlackBerry Security Summit. Can you please pass this invitation along to your students who excel in computer science? It’s a really exciting opportunity for students to grow their portfolio and get publicity in front of enterprise IT and security leaders.
In order to participate, students will need to build an application using the BlackBerry Spark Communications SDK and submit a video demo by August 14th. Here’s how it works:
Download the Spark SDK and create your coolest project.
Make a 1- to 6-minute video demo of your project.
Write 100-800 words describing what it does, why it’s innovative, and the problem it solves.
Submit your video and summary to sparkhackathon@blackberry.com by August 14th at 11:59 PM PDT. BlackBerry will select two winners to showcase their project at either the London Security Summit (September 12th) or the New York Security Summit (October 4th).
